Hello bloggers, so it has been a little while! I have started a new job, moved in with Kurt and got a little puppy so it's been pretty crazy, so the blog has had to take a back seat, but I'm hoping to be posting more regularly now!
So here are all my make up products that I am loving at the moment this May!
Boots Essentials Moisturising Cream (Cucumber range) £1.50:
I love this moisturiser, it is really light, refreshing and cheap! It does exactly what it says and moisturises the face all day so I don't have to worry about my skin drying out half way through work!
Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation £8.99 (I got it for £5, it is currently on offer at Boots!):
This is a really great drug store foundation, I see why so many bloggers rave about it. It is really dewy and makes the skin look really fresh and radiant, it is the perfect foundation for summer, with a light to medium coverage and it perfectly matches my skin tone too which is always a plus as I normally always struggle to find a drug store foundation that matches my skin tone!
Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection 16 Hour Wear Concealer £4.19:
I am not even going to go into how good this is, I have used this concealer ever since I can remember, and every blogger raves about it- there is no need for me to as well.
Benefit "That Gal" Primer £22.50:
My favourite highlighter of all time.. and that is a pretty big statement to make. I only get the mini versions, which come in a package with other benefit products so it can be pricey alone but a little goes a long way and it gives a flawless finish to your skin, highlight in the right areas and your contour will look like its been done by a professional. I apply down my nose, and my brow bone, I am yet to find another highlighter I love just as much.
Collection Bronze Glow Matt - Terracotta £2.99:
Currently my most used bronzer, I only use this when I have fake tan on as otherwise it can look a bit too orange, but if you already have a slight glow about you, this is amazing for contour. Perfect sun-kissed look, I apply this too my cheeks and forehead, lightly dusting over my face. It cheap and it does the job, so I cannot complain. Perfect if you are on a budget!
Rimmel Stay Matte Powder - 001 Transparent £3.99:
Favourite powder of the moment, as it is translucent you can wear if you're skin tone is slightly different due to tan (real or fake!) and as I am loving fake tan atm, its great that I don't need to purchase another powder in a darker shade. This is perfect for covering up and topping up on your face if you have an oiliness throughout the day. I saw Lucy and Lydia YouTube/bloggers rave about this and I must agree it is a great drug store powder, that stays on for hours.
Bakes Body Collection Peach Blush £1.50:
Recently purchased from Body Care, this cheap little drug store blush is amazing, it is so pigmented and can be so easily built up, it can be used as blush or a slightly tinted highlight, it is such a pretty colour!!! I wish I had found this years ago so I could of saved myself some pennies of buying all these high end blush, this one is the perfect summer colour and I am currently wearing it every day!
Avon Cosmetics Classic Neutral Eyeshadow Duo:
I have had this eyeshadow duo for ages and never ever used it as eye shadow, I use it for my brows believe it or not. The brown shade is perfect match for my skin and hair, I simply take an angled brush and just colour in my brows, super natural and a perfect colour!
Benefit Roller Lash £19.50:
I recently did a review on the mini I received in Elle Magazine which you can find in more detail HERE. As soon as I used every last inch of the mini I had to go out and purchase the full bottle. I am not normally/was never fussy when it came to mascaras, but now I genuinely feel I cannot live with this Benefit mascara. It is a little pricey for mascara, but you can get so much use out of it, it really does make my lashes the way I like and makes them look the best they have ever looked, so therefore I don't mind splashing out that little bit extra!
Naked 2 Urban Decay Basics £23.00:
I love this neutrals palette, perfect for every-day wear. all the colours go together so well, and you can make a really easy flawless look. I love putting the lighter colours in my inner corner of my eye and blending out the darker browns and champagne colours towards the edge f my eye towards my brow. Such a pretty gift for teens that have just started playing with make-up and want to practice getting the perfect every-day eye shadow look.
Mac Satin Lipstick in Faux £15.50:
You can never ever go wrong with a MAC lipstick, this is my current go-to lipstick. lovely pinky-brown shade for spring/summer. It lasts so long, and as it is satin formula it gives a slight shine to your lips.
Make Up Bag- Essie Button Merch $24.00:
So I was watching one of my favourite you tubers Estee Lalonde (EssieButton) and she announced she was releasing some merchandise as she teamed up with eLUXE a Canadian brand. I instantly fell in love with this make up bag, I love the natural looking feel to it, and the make up products printed on it. And I honestly wasn't expecting it to be as big as it is.. the pictures don't do it justice but this would be perfect for travelling, it can fit so much in it! you can find Essie Button Merchandise HERE
love Ellie x
