Since turning 20. I feel as if my teenage years are now slowly far behind me. I have recently been reminiscing on the past few years and all the cringe-worthy moments me and my friends had. So lets just put it out there, because no matter how much you try to erase it from your memory, these were some of the best times of your life.
1. Bum shorts. Basically 'get your fanny out' shorts. I won't say more.
2. Staying up all night at (what we thought was) an 'out of control' house party then going straight to work to do an 12 hour shift (waitress probz) with no sleep, flat hair and smelling of booze. And it didn't matter cuz we'll sleep when were dead right?3. Doing 8 shots in a row thinking were hardcore, or as many until we threw up... oh wait we still try and 'attempt' to do that now....very rarely but it still happens.
4. Drinking Lambrini. because you know, we cant afford anything else, we are on minimum wage after all.
5. Meeting older boys in cars and driving at 100mph (or attempting too) it was cool right?
6. Ordering 40 free prints online and doing a photo collage on your bedroom wall, of all the crazy nights out you've had that summer.
7. Blonde box dye. NO. NO. NO. Why was it never easy... I never asked to be ginger. I should of listened to you mum.
8. Fake ID. Some how we got away with it, and you thought you was SICK getting into propaganda 2 months before your 18th birthday.
9. Not eating before drinking,because you wanted to get drunk quicker, in reality you was just sick. Everywhere.
10. Taking 190 photos at a house party or a night out and uploading them into a new Facebook album every week.
11. Drunk texting the boy that never ever wanted you, oh the embarrassment when you see them now.
12. The sweep fringe...you all know the one that took half your hair from one side of your head to the other? yeaaaaaah that one.
13. Wearing Dream Matte Mousse, 6 shades darker than your skin colour, cuz tanned lyf.
14. Pretending your life was an episode of Skins.
15. You will have 20 of the bestest friends ever. forever. lol, no.
16. You will be so in love, head over heels in love, and you honestly don't believe it will ever end. Until it does and you cry into pizza
17. Brows, did they even exist? Over-plucking and regretting it. Why didn't I just save them for the professionals? 18. Your Virginity is a hot-topic. Sex in general is a hot-topic. Sex sex sex, we can't stop talking about it.
19. Running away from home, or getting kicked out by your mum, but going back a couple days later once your friends done your head in, or when you've ran out of money.
20. Gatecrash house parties of people you don't know but have on Facebook.
21. Extensions.. that did not match your hair colour, were too long and cheap. The clips were always visible too. Why oh why did I think that looked good.
22. Passing out, and being sick on yourself.. or was that just me????
23. Posing with 3 fingers in front of your face, trying to re-resemble a 'gun' or a 'chav' *slap*
24. Repeatedly mentioning how old we are. 'OMG I'm nearly an adult, I can't believe that were finally gunna be 18. We are so old.. like what the FUCK' haha no.
